“Polarity” is me being scarily vulnerable while going through life. The songs express my experience of a full spectrum of emotions.
Just like the definition of the word itself, the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies, “Polarity” represents the duality in my life. The extreme lows and extreme highs. The optimist in me though, wants to believe that the flow is always from the negative to the positive. That’s how the songs are ordered. Enjoy!

I'll Never Ask You To Stay is about growing into strength and self-sufficiency when faced with heartbreak. It's inspired from a very painful time of my life which I rarely speak about. However rough that time was, it was a period of intense reflection and growth and I felt that the journey deserved expression. Writing this song was cathartic and scary but I loved the process of bringing it to life!

Love is never an obligation. It's a choice and hard work, but it's also freedom and joy when done right. I hope my song lends strength to those who need to stand up for themselves.

"Day Before A Monday" is the first original song I released as an artist. I had written the lyrics just before heading into lock-down, far away from loved ones. At that time, every single day before a Monday was blurring into the next, painted in stress, worry and also a need to make sense of the sudden upheaval in our lives. I wanted to find a way to force myself to stay hopeful, look forward to a better tomorrow and remind myself to make the most of everything I'm grateful for in the present. Somehow, this still feels like a relevant reminder, even though we're well past the worst of the pandemic! I hope you enjoy it.
